Wood coal and other bio mass gasification is not a new technology. It has been utilized by the Europeans since the 1950's. This technology is just beginning to emerge in the US market and may as well to developing countries.

In Switzerland Bio Mass Gasification furnaces are widely used for hot water and centralized heating for individul homes, community buildings and industrial use. The advantage of bio mass gasification is that the burning takes place with more than 80% thermal efficiency. All gases are completely burned and no carbon soot or smoke is released.
We believe that introduction of modern applications of bio mass gasification could be important in rural area of Pakistan where primary source of energy is by burning wood, coal, maize stock, straw and buffalo dung fuel-cakes etc. The gasification stove would burn all these renewable fuel with very high thermal efficiency.
